1+1=1 FLOWERED SQUARE DOUBLE SLEEVE

Double-sleeve featuring floral-pattern sleeves cut from deadstock fabric, hand-done screen printing and hand-applied studs; each piece may show imperfections due to the handmade process, and every piece is different from the others. The inscription 1+1=1 in Andrei Tarkovsky's masterpiece Nostalghia (1983) represents a holistic principle: a spiritual union in which two separate entities (like one drop of oil merging with another) fuse to become a single, greater whole, negating simple mathematical addition.
